Sparkes Event Solutions was built on a foundation of systems thinking—but not the boring kind.
Our founder began her career in technology and quality management, building frameworks for multi-million dollar projects that required precision, accountability, and measurable results. She was really good at it. But something was missing.
When she transitioned into event management, she discovered what that was: the joy of bringing people together. The satisfaction of watching a vision come to life. The thrill of creating moments that people talk about for years.
She also discovered that most event planning companies operate on talent alone—brilliant creativity without the operational backbone to make excellence repeatable and scalable.

Sparkes Event Solutions is led by Ebony Sparkes, a strategic event executive who brings an uncommon blend of operational precision and genuine warmth to every partnership.
Before founding Sparkes Event Solutions in 2010, Ebony spent years as an IT project manager, delivering multi-million dollar technology initiatives that demanded flawless execution under pressure. She earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and became known for bringing order to complexity and delivering results on time and on budget.
But something was missing. Ebony loved the strategy and systems, but she wanted work that connected her to people—work where she could create experiences that brought joy, built community, and strengthened organizations.
When she made the transition to event management, everything clicked. She discovered that events, when designed with intention and executed with discipline, have real power: they transform organizational culture, deepen engagement, and create moments people remember for years.
Today, with more than 25 years of combined experience across corporate, nonprofit, and community sectors, Ebony leads a team committed to strategic thinking, flawless execution, and genuine care for every client. Her approach is collaborative and straightforward. Clients appreciate her ability to see both the big picture and the critical details, anticipate challenges before they arise, and create experiences that feel both effortless and extraordinary.

Crystal Boswell brings more than a decade of experience in event management across corporate, government, education, and nonprofit sectors. Known for her operational strength and steady execution, she has supported million-dollar initiatives and directed events ranging from intimate leadership gatherings to large-scale productions serving thousands.
With a background spanning business operations, fundraising, and event production, Crystal excels at translating strategy into action—managing timelines, coordinating vendors, and aligning every moving part with the overall vision. From early planning through event day execution, she supports our clients with professionalism, precision, and a calm presence that keeps complex projects on track.
